Delete Your Account

What gets deleted

When your account is permanently deleted, the following data is removed:

• Your name, email address, and phone number
• All saved delivery addresses
• Your profile and account settings
• Login sessions and connected accounts
• Notifications and activity history

What we keep

To comply with legal and financial regulations, we retain the following in anonymized form:

• Order history — retained for 3 years for accounting and legal purposes
• Transaction records — required by financial regulations
• Your order history will no longer be linked to your name, email, or any personal identifier

30-day grace period

After you submit a deletion request, your account enters a 30-day grace period. During this time:

• Your account remains accessible — you can still log in and use Khawao
• You can cancel the deletion request at any time from your profile page
• After 30 days, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone

How to delete your account

You have two options:

• In-app — go to Profile → Danger zone → Delete my account
• By email — send a request to hello@khawao.com from your registered email address

If you request deletion by email, we will process your request within 7 business days and send a confirmation.
